I remember everything but.............

I was a couple years younger

Parents probably thought I was to young

but I do remember a couple years before the movie , I was probably like 8 or 9 , all us kids were in the back seat of my parents car and we were driving between Spirit Lake and Estherville , which is like only about a 30 minute drive , my dad was driving and @#$%& about the somewhat new 55 MPH speed limit , and I was leaning over the front seat listening to my mom tell us kids about a book she was reading , called Jaws , I still remember that drive like it was yesterday , even remember seeing the 55 MPH sign along the road that set my dad off.....................lol

I remember seeing the movie posters everywhere , I think they were for sale in like every store we went into

I remember all the media and news hype surrounding the movie

I even remember the original Land Shark skit on SNL

but the movie it's self , nope , no clue where I saw it or who I saw it with

The first thing that pops into my head when someone mentions Jaws , not the USS Indianapolis story, not the head poping down from the hole in that small fishing boat , not the girl swimming at the beginning , but that one scene when the shark first comes in the pool or pond , or whatever they called it where the guy gets his legs bit off , but it's not the leg getting bitten off

but it's that girl yelling shark , and that couple of seconds of everyone running along the bridge or pier , is the first thing that pops into my head every time
