We don't have any streaming services, however we DO record almost all of the weekly shows we watch. We record because so many times i fall asleep in the evenings after taking care of the grandbaby all day... I'm just beat. I don't want to miss my shows so we record them. The good news about recording to the DVR, though, is that we are able to zip through the commercials (YIPPEE!!). I understand that's how these shows make money, but commercials are more annoying than anything else. I used to need them to go to the bathroom or replenish my snacks, but I don't even need that anymore... not with a Pause button!
Nothing is as exasperating as watching a football game, a commercial comes on so you flip to the other game to see what's going on and I'll be doggoned if THEY aren't showing a commercial, too! GEEZ... do they have these things timed simultaneously from network to network down to the nano second? One of my many pet peeves.
