and totally understand.. My guess is that somewhere down the line, during screenings and polls and whatnot, that Hollywood decided it wasn't pertinent to include both sides.. just show the carnage and the bad guy getting his butt handed to him.. End it on a feel good moment, not the "oh crap look at the carnage" as the credits roll..
So, I see THAT point, but I also see your point.. they need to filter that in somewhere along the way.. I think they did a decent job of that in the latest Boston Marathon Bombing movie Patriot's Day..
