If it doesn't, there are companies that will refinish it for, like, $300 or so.. if it leaks, then there's an issue.. Somebody out there should be able to plug the leak with some sort of epoxy, then refinish the whole thing.. that would be the direction I would try first.. if that's a no-go, then maybe replace it with something less expensive.. Its a cool tub, tho, and hopefully you'll be able to salvage it somehow..
Well it did... it still might but if it does we don't notice it. That said we hardly ever use it.
I did have a glass repair guy say he could fix it... But he went to jail shortly after that, lol... Maybe I will try that route and just see where it leads. Thanks for the help.
If anyone does decide to do bath fitters... just be aware that it is set up like a sales thing... where the guy comes in, calls his boss and then they put you on the phone with scheduling to set up a new appointment to go over the estimates. Just saying you will be put through a sales process. No big deal, lots of places do that. It make me uncomfortable a bit because when I was in college I had a part time job in a system like that and no I don't trust any business that uses that "technique".
