CD's I think are dead..

to me at least they are.. I haven't bought a CD in years.. but, I still buy DVD's and Blu Rays..Quite a few, actually.. but I can see a day where they'll go the way of CD's..

I would actually think Beta was the shortest lived format ever - or Laserdisc.. Laserdisc REALLY never caught on.. I do have a copy of Spinal Tap on Laserdisc, but have never seen a player, so have never been able to watch it... So, my bet is Laserdisc was the shortest lived idea that never caught on at all..
