I did a long time ago

for a small window. I was told I had inflammation in my esophagus. If you modify your diet it will go away. I remember him telling me to cut back on caffeine.
If you are a coffee drinker you can switch to low acid coffee which will help.

He may prescribe medicine that lowers your stomach acid which may be coming up into your throat and irritating the esophagus.
I take the stomach medicine and watch my diet. Small dinners and look to limit acidic foods: tomatoes, salsa, coffee, hard alcohol, etc.
Like I said my throat was pretty irritated, but I made changes and the 2nd scope , there was little irritation. My acid reflux was under control too. Went to Hawaii
and ate a tn and had cocktails and it flared up again.
