Wasps were building on the overhand and even in it. They were everywhere and I would wait until night fell and spray the nests but I couldn't spray inside the soffit and facia. So of course I never really got rid of them.
Finally I called a service and that was the end of them. After obliterating all of them he sprayed a powder which keeps them away. End of problem.
I suggest hiring a pro that has the right stuff to do the job. I don't think the over the counter sprays do enough to solve the problem, they are a short term fix.
