the 'crying' is ebbing away, slowly.
That was a tear jerker, Steve. Good call.
It was NOT the type of sadness I was expecting, however. Now I could write a bunch about the movie, Steve, but I'm not'a gonna. And here's why... I'm going to allow my youngest grandson to speak for me. I have no doubt you'll appreciate this.
After the movie, as I said, I had to leave immediately.. chores, then two basketball games. I had completed my chores, had a quick dinner, and just sat down for the first basketball game when a call came in. I answered.
I have a VERY difficult time hearing people on my phone, as you know... hearing loss. This call came from my youngest grandson who calls me very infrequently... but he had something important to ask.
Elijah (7 years old), speaking to me on the phone, "Papa, when I'm 11 will you take me to Japan?"
Odd question, I wasn't prepared, so I asked, "Sure, Elijah, but why?"
Elijah, "I want to visit Hachi's grave. And Ashton, (His older brother), wants to go too".
