IMO, none of the Bond actors are really the guy in the novels.
Having seen the movies first, I tried envisioning various of the actors as I read, and they just didn't fit what I was reading.
And that's fine. Movies and books are different.
I'm a huge fan of the movie franchise and own them all.
I've decided long ago that I don't have a favorite.
Each actor brings different strengths and interest to the role that I can appreciate.
Some of the movies are DEFINITELY better than others, tho.
As far as the books go, if you read them, prepare to be jarred out of the PC sensibilities of our time.
