Kinda sounded snobby, didn't I?

Actually I'm not... didn't care for the gallon of Rossi but there are cheap wines I have liked very much.

I'm sure the home made wine I was raised on most would find less than appealing. My main reason for buying the Rossi was to see if it was close to what my relatives used to make in their cellars, it wasn't. I'm sure there are many in my area who still make wine that old fashioned way but none in my family do today. The only thing close that I've found was, you guessed it, in Italy. - JamesJM
