Top spin is so key.....

in tennis.. not only because it allows you to whack the snot out of the ball, which then curves downward on the other side of the net and doesn't go long, it also TAKES OFF like a bullet when it bounces on the court.. so, kind of a double whammy..

Of course, back spin was an evil weapon, as well..

I really miss playing.. If I ever get back into it, I'll hit against a backboard for about a month to get my strokes back, then go to a full court and hit with someone.. and hope I don't tear about 6 ligaments.. I forgot - I did hit with a friend once a few years ago.. he said I looked like Andre Agassi - hopefully before he lost the wig...
