I was surprised the movie was so tense for me since I knew what had happened and that no one was seriously injured. So the "drama" was done very well.
The only question I would have is what response would the NTSB or the FAA have to the movie's depiction of the "investigation". I'm guessing they might argue that was not entirely accurate. Their investigation was normal and we who fly can thank their efforts in investigating all matters related to commercial flying. I suspect there were positive changes following the crash-thanks to the investigation. But the movie made them out to be asses.
Your right. The credits were well done and showed how close the resemblance was between Hanks and the real Sully. Hollywood is indeed amazing.
