I mean, c'mon... if they're gonna replicate the computers found on that UFO that crashed in Roswell in the 50's seem sliek they'd replicate the propulsion systems, as well..
Of course I was kidding there.. You're story about the folding of a house to the size of a shoebox, for some reason, made me think about a show I saw where a guy designs and builds roller coasters and he starts with either a wire coat hanger or a similar wire to bend it into the coaster track design he wants.. then they build it.. crazy..
But, you're right.. the C-5 landing gear thing, to me, is amazing.. if I remember correctly, not only does the entire gear structure rotate 90 degrees, but then that structure also flattens out so the gear doesn't take as much room, height-wise, in the plane...
