i forgot to mention..

I turned around, while everyone was discussing their opinions of what was going on, and saw at least 15 people texting..

Now, we've gone to 5 movies in the last month, or so, and noticed a difference in the public service announcements, before the movie, regarding the use of your cell phones during the movie.. Used to be they flat out said you'd you'd be removed from the theater.. Well, NOW, they've changed it to "the cool people can resist the temptation to pay attention to the small screen while the big screen is playing the movie everyone came to see"..

They used to flash a sign that said "shut off your cell phones now".. before the movie started.. Not anymore...

So, I guess its ok to text through the whole movie now.. give it a couple of months and it'll be ok to talk on your cell throughout the whole movie and not shut your ringer off...
