Well, not really.... but more than I have for the last 20 years... wait, going on 30 years. As you know I was cured of Hep C a couple of years ago... drinking with Hep C is a no-no. So I didn't... or nearly so. I would have a glass of wine every so often... perhaps 4 or 5 per year. Beer less often than that.
In the last couple of years I drink more wine, with meals. Although very rarely I will, some evenings, have a cocktail. I will also have a beer, even two beers, at some 'gatherings'... this weekend I'm going camping... in the evenings, by the campfire, I will probably have a beer.
But here's the deal with 'alcohol' and me today - it makes it hard for me to sleep. One glass of wine, no... two and I'm restless at night.
Back in my youth, and this is NOT bragging, I could close down the local bar and be up before dawn and out driving a tractor all day with very few ill effects. Today... two glasses of wine, then a restless night of semi-sleep, and I'm miserable the entire next day. I'm a wimp. - JamesJM
