Being in LA does not put me in a jolly mood.
Can't handle the congestion. But I'm a hick farm boy and I have never lived in a large city, (for any length of time), so I'm simply not cut out for dealing with that. I'm always rather amazed how people who do live in the bigger cities handle it with ease.
But as for being at the games live I'm different.... still love it. Part of that I think was born from my coaching days. I LOVE watching plays develop, all 22 players. I can't see that on TV. And I also like the atmosphere of a truly excited home team celebration. And then a third reason... my grandson's are just coming into their 'glory days' and getting caught up in their excitement is the best.
I have made no decision about Sunday Ticket. Like Ram23 I'm not sure what I can see free and what I can't... but I 'think' I'll be able to watch most games free if not all of them.
I plan on seeing at least two games live this year. The home opener with the Hawks I already have tickets for. The other, or maybe even two others, I'll decide as the season progresses. I'm NOT keen on seeing the Niner game... I've seen those guys far too many times over the years.
Right now I'm planning on a trip to England right after christmas... yikes.
I'm not sure but I think the playoff games are broadcast in England... if not, I'll be forced to storm the BBC and demand a program change because our Rams ARE going to make the big show this year.
