Drummers.......James Bradley Jr.

I was just watching the Jack Benny Program and Nat King Cole was the guest. They did a musical skit where King Cole brought in a 5 year old James Bradley Jr to play drums. MAN!! What a Drummer at age 5! I honestly had never heard of him till this morning but I THOUGHT the young boy looked familiar so I looked him up. That Jack Benny show aired in Jan 1964. Just three years later, Bradley Jr had the brief roll in "Cool Hand Luke" (When Luke makes the dogs sneeze) and then went on to be quite an accomplished drummer. That Jack Benny show was one of Nat King Cole's last TV appearances. Just a few months later, his health started crashing. He passed away just over a year later (Feb 1965) from lung cancer.
