We've known it to be looming. This house was a rental when my Wife moved in 12 years ago and a very cheap AC system had just been installed a year prior. It has often put out a musty smell (That only my Wife notices....Building models has killed my smell. LOL) I'm gonna go for the gusto....New inside and out units AND replace the ducts. I want to get a unit that's fairly close to top of line. I have not had to buy an AC unit since 1998. Any ideas what I'll spend for a 3/2 house, about 1600 sq feet for the units and ducts?? I think the ducts scare me more because our attic access SUCKS!
