My son hates hot weather....

in fact, every person in my family, except me, hates hot weather. With a passion!

I think that's why my son moved to England... although he doesn't admit that. So anyway -

It's a running joke in my family that hot weather follows my son wherever he goes.... a joke that has, remarkably, held true since forever ago. If he travels to Croatia for a vacation Croatia experiences the hottest days of the year while he's there.... same with Canada, all of Europe... and so on.

So he's coming home this Friday. We've been experiencing what I think it a somewhat mild summer... we had only one day in May that reached 100º... usually we have a few. We just had a drop down to the 80's, this month, which is VERY unusual. BUT... my son is arriving Friday... the prediction? 115º. I don't think I have ever seen a prediction that high in my lifetime.



Soon after it's supposed to drop back down in the 90's... which is great BUT.... my son has to survive those first two days after his arrival.
