We are in short term accommodation that is the annex to a real-life Manor in Cornwall as we struggle to find a longer term property due to London and all major cities moving to Cornwall to ecpate Covid.
Not so fast city-types!
The landlady who is a' legitimate Lady' (in the Royal sense) isn't really into social distancing or wearing a mask.
On our viewing, I went to put a mask on and she said 'oh don't bother with that'. I did anyway.
I just went round to tell her I was transferring this month's rent only to be told the house was in isolation because her son has tested positive.
Apparently, the aristocracy isn't as immune from real life as some of them like to believe.
Can I say 'what an utter bunch of knobs'
If not, I won't, but they are.
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
