As I have mentioned before, I selling my farm, been there 32 years.
So today the HVAC inspector is coming for the buyer.
I 've not used the central system for 30 years, (1969 Carrier), because it kept causing the propane tank to implode (1969 gas was $.25 a gal.)..
It was in a closet that after a renovation was walled off.
So this morning I had to unwall it off, not happy about it...... at all, had to be done.
There they are, finally, after 30 years of looking.
Three leaves to my Duncan Phyfe Dining room table. It now seats 12 again.
It's from the 1870's and the antiques appraiser (from the Antiques Roadshow and did my original appraisal)
said if I ever found them, the value would increase by 1/4.
I remembered as soon as I saw them, put them there for safe keeping. Forgot about them during the renovation.
Funny how it's always the last place you look......lol
