First photo of a Black Hole...

talk about a misleading headline.

who was taking in by this? Well, I was. but in my defense I obviously knew there would be no photo of a Black Hole but rather the area surrounding a Black Hole.

But that's not what I want to talk about... want to talk about multiverses. I'm sure you've heard about this theory. An infinite number of universes.... which means, demands, that every possible scenario of potentiality has been reached, an infinite number of times. Right now 'you' in another universe is being attacked while at your computer by an escaped baboon. In another universe the baboon is mixing you a manhattan. But we can take this even further:

In the universe where the baboon is mixing you a manhattan he's doing so while I am being bitten by mosquito, in another while I'm being bitten by the rare sable toothed Koala... in another while being bitten by LeBron James... while in another I don't even exist and in my place lies a talking cocker spaniel.

Ok, you get the idea, right?

Every possible potentiality... or is it? If that's true... multiverses, why not the 'potentiality' of an advanced civilization conquering the multiverses and taming them? Stopping LeBron from attacking me and doing so forevermore? That's a potentiality, is it not? Have I stumbled into a paradox? Are paradoxes allowed in this conquered multiverse?
