Brother, that's a LOT of gigs....

11 gigs in 7 days? I'd be a pile of quivering goo after trying to do that lol.. Most I've ever done was 5 shows in 4 days, but 2 of those shows were with second degree burns on both hands - that happened on Friday night, so I had to do both Saturday shows with freshly BBQ'd hands.. It was AWFUL..

In touring we'd play Wed through Saturday night, every week.. The days off were traveling days and Sundays and Tuesdays were breakdown and set up days.. You had to keep in mind we toured with a MONSTER PA and light show, so set up/tear down was no joke.. When I got into Minx, they had a full road crew.. We'd drive all night, the band would get dropped off at the hotel to sleep all day while the crew set up the stage and lights.. Keep in mind that Minx had a 4 foot high drum riser, 4 stacks of Marshall cabinets, three cabinets high - so 12 Marshall cabinets on each side of the drums.. We had 60 Par 64's (the BIG lights) plus just as many smaller spot lights, a HUGE follow spot light - the kind where a dude runs it and highlights the singer and guitar solos etc.. Crazy amounts of equipment with a 20 foot truck we called "the Mauler" to haul it around.. Man, those were the days..

We'd soundcheck around 5-6pm, go eat and spend 3 hours putting on makeup and stuff and then do four 45 minute sets, usually.. Some clubs only require us to play til 2am - some required us to play til 4am.. the 4am shows were tough..

It was a hard life (mostly for the road crew lol), but man was it fun..!

Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
