I've never worked that hard..

but I do remember our longest gig ever... well, most of it anyway.

Started at 10am... Harvest Festival Parade on a trailer. Ended at 8am the next morning. Actually that was several gigs. The day began with the parade and we were scheduled to play AT the Festival, (following the parade), immediately following. Before we finished playing at the Festival a friend asked if we could come and play at a party he was having on his farm.... we did... and at THAT party we got invited to another. I can't remember how many different parties we played at... at least 4 but could have been 5 or even 6. Back to back to back to. back.. you get the idea.

That was our record for longest gig. Our record for most gigs in 7 days was 11. That was harder on me than the 22 hour gig at the Harvest Festival. Another interesting note about the 11 gigs in 7 days was that I had broken my left elbow and was in a cast. Yup, that made drumming a bit difficult.

While I'm at this... and not sure this will be correct but from memory our furthest North gig was Calgary, Canada. Furthest South would be a cattle ranch in New Mexico right on the Mexican border. Furthest East would be, I'm not sure... possibly Amarillo, Texas.

From memory... not very reliable these days... we played in the following States.... Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California of course, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Utah. Nearly ALL of them on cattle ranches/farms. - JamesJM
