so Steve, so you think you worked hard? (Band Gig)

I started yesterday morning. Make that EARLY yesterday morning. First chore.. finding all my equipment. My son-in-law and daughter had decided FOR ME where to store it two years ago! Some here, some there, hell some of it ½ mile away.

THEN... cleaning. I'm not even going to get into that... let's just say some was stored where mice had access. When they stored it all they opened the bags to see what was inside, as if they'd know, then decided there was no need to zipper them closed again.

Just finished up about ½ hour ago. And it's far from spotless but I'm exhausted. It'll pass, if viewed from a distance. laughing smiley

Rehearsal starts this week.. not sure which day yet. One of the members made our set list... we're figuring a couple sets. 2 hrs. Somewhere between 34-40 songs. Of course he chose all his favorites. banghead. We'll argue that out at the first rehearsal. laughing smiley

One of our members wants us to play "Evil Ways' by Santana. ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH! You gotta have an entire percussion section in the band to play that song decently.

Do I sound cranky? Well, wading thru mouse #%$@ will do that to you. - JamesJM

P.S. My acoustic set is safe and sound but FAR too much work for me at this time to load them, set them up, tear them down, load them, then unload them.
