I never really watched MTV but i scanned through the video you posted and recognized Lee Rittenour playing a couple of tunes so I listened to those. I've always loved the song "Is It You?" Rittenour used to play with the jazz group Fourplay and even after he left the group, I can still hear his influence in their style of music.
