What does the flap do?

Other than flap your gums? K, I know you've probably heard that one 15 times today alone.. So, are you getting the full set of implants or just a few? I'm guessing that's where they screw posts in your jaw bone and then attach teeth to it? Man, I dunno much about teeth.. I've been lucky as sh*t and have zero fillings, zero crowns, zero implants etc.. They say everybody has at least one thing they're good at.. Apparently mine is teeth, although I have a really small mouth and at about ten years old had 4 permanent teeth removed (kind of by the canines - one on each side top, one on each side bottom) so there was enough room for all the other permanent teeth to come in.. Despite popular opinion, I have a really small mouth.. lol
