I'll never get the feeling back. They have informed me. They said I'll get used it... everyone does and it won't be all that bothersome. But I don't know. 
Hasn't been that long, just over 3 months, and I'm not even close to 'getting used to it'. I cannot drink coffee from a coffee cup, I have to use a straw. other drinks aren't as bad and I can overcome the dribble... but when drinking from a coffee cup nothing I do helps... as much dribbles out as goes in. I guess maybe the lip of a coffee cup?
But ODDLY the loss of feeling isn't what is bothering me the most right. It's what they call a 'flap' they put in my mouth until I have the dental implants. It's HUGE.....runs the entire length of my lower left jaw. It's like having a pillow in my mouth at all times. There is NO pain with it... it's just the size of the damn thing.
