We always had set up at 11am and soundtrack at 5pm.. Yes, it took that long with all the computerized lights, projection system and smoke machines and stuff.. then 3 hours to get dressed up with the makeup and jewelry and stuff.. didn't go on til 11pm.. So, twelve straight hours of running my butt off..played til 1:30am, then 3 hours to break down and unload everything back into the jam pad..
Show days were extremely hard physically - on me, at least..
BUT, I'd ALWAYS get at least 3 breakfast burritos at Whataburger - that I ate after a full shower and taking everything off.. sitting on the couch eating burritos around 5am was always the best, most fulfilling thing - while seeing all the pics of the show posted on facebook.. I gotta get another band rolling.. but, with the blackouts and stuff I'm a little nervous...
