It seems to me European players literally play almost year-round from a very early age.

Recently read an article that argued travel teams are stunting the growth of American soccer as well.

Interesting that travel teams in baseball produce the best players, but not so in soccer.

I know absolutely zilch about rugby, or cricket for that matter. My brother-in-law plays on a rugby club in Portland, but we usually end up talking about football or hockey lol.

I guess cricket matches can apparently go on for days??
