This is hard to believe....

I'm not sure I believe it.

Some years ago I dropped my smart phone in Millerton Lake. Gone forever.

Just got a text from a cousin... he dropped his phone in Shaver Lake early this last May. Yesterday a diver in Shaver Lake, looking for fishing lures, found his phone.... turned it on and saw a number..... called it. Today my cousin picked up his phone and it's working perfectly.

My cousin, BTW, is the luckiest human on earth. I think he's won every single raffle he's ever bought a ticket for. At a local club I belong too they have a couple raffle's every year.... main prize is a gun..... my cousin wins it every year. I think he's won a dozen guns or far? Maybe more. Ticket sales have fallen off drastically.. no reason to buy one because my cousin is going to win it. - JamesJM
