It's a given that I don't know soccer well.. BUT....

If you don't mind a little boasting.... before the WC started I told my grandsons Morocco was a team to watch. I even suggested we place a bet on them. They shut me down. They ain't so sure now.

And nope, I don't think they'll win it all. I'm still of the mind that anyone other than France is a long shot.

Here's a surprise for you.... of all the teams left that I think has the best chance to knock off France I'm thinking it just may be Mexico. Well, just checked the odds and Mexico has moved up to the 5th favorite so I'm not alone thinking Mexico is looking good.

After their first two games I thought "Wow, the USA has a chance"..... today? Not so sure. I've gone back and forth on the USA. Got very down on them for a while, but only a short while. Currently I think they have a shot BUT.... it will take them playing a little better than their best in every upcoming match. Possible.. but a long shot.
