found memories of going to the drive-in

June 01, 2026 10:37PM
The two main ones we'd go to were Puget Park and Sno King. They would show the feature first, then the double feature, then the feature again. So four and a half hours parked on the warm summer nights with your girl. I remember going to see the Swamp Thing in 1982 three times in one week with three different girls. Still haven't actually seen that movie wink2 smiley I remember the guy selling tickets at the ticket booth recognized my car and saw I was with a different girl every night and the third time just started laughing. I remember my date asking me why he was laughing and I was like I don't know. LOL smiley

Coolest drive-in I ever saw was in Quesnel B.C. in the 70s. It was a drive-in theater with a motel in the back. If you were staying at the motel you could open the curtains in your room to watch the movie and there was a speaker on the wall that had the sound.
