Some character differences

Ben Reilly....

in the comics , Spider-noir is still Peter Parker , but in the show they changed his name to Ben Reilly , it has to do with the whole license thing , Sony owns all the Spider-man characters , but they have an agreement with Disney / Marvel , and this show is on Amazon , so they couldn't use the name Peter Parker , or even the name Spider-man

the comics are called Spider-man noir , but the show is just called Spider-noir

so who is Ben Reilly ?, he goes all the way back to the 70's , when the Green Goblin killed Gwen Stacy , a man named Miles Warren , was a Professor at the University that both Peter and Grew were going to , Gwen was his lab assistant , when the Green Goblin killed Gwen , he blamed Spider-man , so he cloned Spider-man , to get revenge , who he then learned was Peter Parker

it's been a really good story line , because over the years , it's never been a 100% clear who is the real Peter Parker , the clone took the name Ben Reilly

Ben from Uncle Ben , and Reilly was Aunt May's maiden name

Ben Reilly in the comics is still around today , known as the Scarlett Spider

Silvermain ..........

yea , in the comics he's a crime boss , the only thing they left out is that Silvermain is obsessed with immortality and cybernetics

The other bad guys ..........

they are pretty much the same ................pretty much ...............kinda sorta

the one that confused me the most was Felica Hardy , I'm not sure why they used her name at all here , their not even similar

in the comics she's the Black Cat , international Jewell Theft , but in the show , I liked the character , but very different , so why use the name

we have seen the character of Felica Hardy in live action before , if you have seen the Andrew Garfield Spider-man movies , she was in those , she was Harry Osbourns assistant at Oscorps , played by Felicity Jones , they had bigger plans for her character , but then those movies got cancelled as they switched to the Tom Hardy Spider-man movies

I have always wished they would do a movie trillogy on the Clone Saga , it's a really good story , and kind of surprised they havent

to this day , we are still not 100% sure which is which
