Naval warfare was basically the same for 500 years then the use of aircraft and aircraft carriers in WW2 made battleships obsolete overnight. I think tanks are about to become obsolete as well.

Its going to get real scary when the start to use A.I. with these drones. I bet the pentagon is an interesting place to work right now.
