The Towering Inferno

Just re-watched it yet again and was left with a couple of thoughts.

1. They just don't make actors like they use to. What leading mean today could hold their own next to Paul Newman or Steve McQueen.

2. They don't seem to make films anymore with large star studded casts. Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, William Holden, Faye Dunaway, Fred Astaire, Richard Chamberlain, Jennifer Jones, Robert Vaughn and Robert Wagner all in the same film.

3. Even though I lived through it, every time I watch a film from this era I'm always caught off guard how in love we were with color orange in the 70s. Orange carpet, orange furniture, orange walls, orange drapes... etc.
