Except for those old 50' and 60's cowboy TV shows.. LOVED those theme songs.
I was not a Garth fan but I did like a couple of his tunes... especially that duet with Chris LeDoux whom I love. RIP.
The music to those spaghetti westerns, expecially the Good the Bad and the ugly by Ennio Morriconi are quite simply masterpieces and some of the greatest music in history.
I think many of the male country and western singers had some of the best voices possible... up there if not surpassing the Italian Crooners.. Frank, Dean, etc.
I am not a fan of today's country and western which is anything but IMHO. And I'm not much into the very old 'twang' country stars although some of them do have a great nostalgic appeal to me.
As I've said innumberable times, Steve.... no one loves more genre of music than I do. Some I listen to seldom but there are tunes in each that I love.
