Rented this on Amazon last night and really enjoyed it. Like I've said before I think 90% of films today are trash and I'm always hesitant going in on a movie that is getting a lot of hype because in this day and age all a move needs to get hyped is just not suck.
Rocky steals the show and their decision to go with a puppet rather then CGI really paid off. Was also really hesitant because I am not a Ryan Gosling fan. Before this film I thought he had the emotional range of a cardboard cut out, this is the first performance of his I liked.
I've seen interviews with the author Andy Weir, his dedication to the science and amount of work he puts in to get the science right is really refreshing.
