regarding 'where'. And it's only fair for me to note that I had nothing to do with it... my daughters decided - -
That is: Going to UCSF, (3 to 5 hour drive depending on traffic), or more locally... Fresno....45 minutes.
Another note: I'm not criticizing Fresno here... I don't know enough to do that.
My daughters talked this over WITH doctors both in SF and Fresno... they all agreed, even the Fresno Docs. UCSF was far more specialized whereas in Fresno one Doc would have to cover many facets of my treatment. At UCSF I have so many Doc's I lost count. I think there were 4, maybe 5, different surgeons that worked on me while I was under. Plus another I don't know how many Doc's that are not surgeons.. or at least weren't my surgeons.
I would imagine it's the same for you; and since Dallas is much larger than SF you probably have even more options there.
