I know of all the board members facing physical issues, I've probably got it the easiest. so all my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone here, as well..
Yesterday (Tuesday the 19th) was going to be my 19th days without a blackout,, I Was at work, sitting at my desk around 6:15am.. My boss walked in to see how I was - he and I were the only people here that early.. For some reason I decided to stand up when he walked into my office..
The next thing I remember, was being on the floor, seeing my vanilla chai tea bottle knocked over, with vanilla chai tea (looks like milk) pouring off my desk to the carpet like a waterfall, and a bunch of stuff on the floor with me.. My boss was trying to help me get up.. I tried to play it off like I tripped, but he wasn't having any of that..
So, I'm kind of freaking out.. they could push to medically retire me or a slew of other bad things that I'm not financially ready for.. Its a game of wait and see right now..
Did you ever get a diagnosis as to what's causing the blackouts, Steve? If you posted it, then I missed it. And if you didn't post it and don't want to, I get that, too. I just worry about that happening to you while you're driving. I totally understand your concern about your job. Most people want to retire on their own terms, when they're ready. But we don't always get to do it that way. In the meantime, though things may be up in the air, it might not hurt to be thinking about that very thing. Just in case it turns into a sooner than later. I love all you guys and am so sorry all this sh*t is happening to you. Geez!
