UCSF

Hey Greg... UCSF, San Francisco. Some tests are in Fresno. Following surgery I'll be having radiation and since that is daily we're arranging to have it done in Fresno.

As for UCSF..... they have been amazing. I can't speak highly enough of the entire team. I do, however, have to have my daughter go with me because most of them have such heavy accents I can't understand a word they are saying. .

Tuesday I'll be there to meet with 3 of the surgeons who will do the surgery...it's a 'team', mostly because it involves teeth implants. They are so 'specialized' it's amazing. A different doctor/surgeon for every single little thing...which is why my daughters decided on UCSF after some exhaustive research.

And thanks, Greg.... I've actually surprised myself since this all began by staying very positive about it all. I'm doing well.

I did have a bad setback, ummm, 2 weeks ago that required an ambulance ride to Fresno, Clovis Community Hospital, but the cause was only 'loosely' related to the cancer...somehow I aspirated a med that shut down my breathing.... it was a quick fix but the recover was the worst thing I've ever gone thru. - JameJM
