I've thought about this, and here is my theory....

"Time" is the measurement of the interval from the beginning of something to the end of it. We see LOTS of those intervals... the time from midnight until now... the time since I was born until now, and eventually from the time I was born until I die... The time the United States has existed, or will exist...

If something doesn't have a beginning, you can't measure an interval and "time" doesn't apply. Because that's what "time" is... an interval.

So yes... I think the fact that "time" exists proves that there was a beginning. AND that there will be an end.

Beyond that, I cannot imagine this discussion continuing without getting into religion, and as clearly stated religious discussions are not allowed. So I anticipate it may get locked fairly soon.
