and it relates to our concept of "time"
Can time actually go back forever, or must there be a "Day Without Yesterday"?
Think about it. Think hard. Was there ever a "beginning" and if so what caused that and where did "that " begin; Has "existence" always been there or was there a beginning for it" And if so where did the cause of "existence" come from?
What if my son who will soon be studying astrophysics in a PHD program for University of Colorado at Boulder discovers that the concept of "time" as a dimension has existed "forever". What does "forever" mean"? We-humans-think in linear terms like "cause and effect"; A leads to B-meaning everything has a beginning.and an end. Can we even conceive the concept of something that has "always" existed?
Maybe I should put another log on the fire, pour another glass of scotch and pet---wait Peper died a few months ago-oh well do my best trying to solve these questions but alas I never do. Maybe my new puppy (yes an English Springer Spaniel) will give me guidance.
