The Human Pincushion has returned!

My neurologist gave me a series of 32 shots, in the head, for migraines over the last several years.. They were actually helping me, so I continued to take them, even tho they're painful and unpleasant in every sense of the word.. Everything was swell..Then my neurologist closed her shop in November and referred me to another neurologist to continue the shots.. I also lost my cardiologist the same week..

Well, the new neurologist's staff is COMPLETELY daft and needs the keystone cops theme song running behind them non-stop.. Except they weren't funny.. I literally wanted to inflict pain on them because they were so horrible.. They were total horse's asses.. They don't answer their phones, nor return calls.. They don't read, nor answer emails or portal messages.. The only way you can get an answer from them is to drive to their office and stand at the front desk and ask.. I thought they just didn't like me, but this morning, every patient who walked through the door, went to the front desk, asked their question(s) and left.. WTF?

So, at my initial appointment on Dec 29th, they scheduled me for my injections.. Doctor said give her 3 weeks to get a per-authorization by my insurance company, and to order the meds they'd be injecting.. The scheduling nurse scheduled it for 3 months - not 3 weeks.. When I pointed out the discrepancy to her, she looked at me as if to say "its too much headache to fix it now - just live with it" So, I did.. I've had a non-stop migraine since about the middle of January..

Today was FINALLY the day.. From Dec 29 to March 30, I had to drive to their office FOUR times to get yes/no questions answered.. I was the first appt of the day.. Somehow I still didn't get my injections until 11am..

..and damn... they hurt.. Then I had to go straight to work, with 32 trickles of blood oozing down my head and face because I'm on blood thinners.. I'm at work now.. suffering.. Hopefully they will be worth it.. Its been 6 months since I last had them.. I'm getting too old for this sh*t..

..Anyways, hopefully I'll be in a better mood around here from now on.. Don't put money on it, or anything lol
