I had a '67 Camaro..

in MINT condition.. I needed gear to hit the road touring, so sold it to an old girlfriend with the caveat that should she EVER get rid of it, I had first dibs.. Two weeks later she drove up in this BEAT UP Ford Econline van.. just beat up, smoking, baby blue, missing paint etc.
etc.

I ask her where she got it.. She said she traded the camaro for it with some dude at a small car lot.. I asked, "you traded my Camaro? How much cash did you get along with this van?" She replied, "I traded the car plus $1200 for the van!"..

I was sooooo pissed.. I called the dude and said the deal was off.. He said that Camaro was worth 10 of those vans.. started laughing and hung up on me.. That was in 1983.. I'm still pissed to this day..
