Meet the new Bones and Sulu

in the upcoming Strange New Worlds episode

Thomas Jane will play Bones and Kai Murakami will play Sulu in the final episode of Strange New Worlds

but , we still have a ways to go

Bones and Sulu won't show up until episode 6 of season 5

we still have to get through season 4 which will come out this summer , then season 5 some time next year

season 5 will only have 6 episodes

even though Bones and Sulu will only appear in one episode of Strange New Worlds

a spinoff of Strange New Worlds is in pre-pre production called Star Trek : Year One

will then pick up right after Strange New Worlds ends , it will then follow Captain KirK ( Paul Wesley ) as he first takes over as Captain of the Enterprise

the new show has as yet been officially greenlit , but it is in it's earliest form of development

like I said Bones and Sulu will only appear in the last episode , but Thomas Jane and Kai Murakam contracts have multiple year options

so , guess we'll have to wait and see how it goes
