My last experience flying..

was NOT cool.. I had heard something about airlines not being held responsible for late flights, people missing connecting flights, having to stay in hotels etc.. So the airlines kind of gave a big middle finger to the public.. I checked every flight on the boards, since my flight was 4 hours delayed: there was not ONE flight in the ENTIRE AIRPORT that was on time.. Not one.. I almost missed my connecting flight from Grand Cayman to Little Cayman island, even tho we had a 5 hour layover.. That would have cost me roughly $1500 as I'd hafta catch a flight at my expense the next day, stayed at my own expense at a hotel on Grand Cayman, missed a full day of diving and all meals on Little Cayman etc..

So, I was pissed at the airport in Dallas.. I went to complain to the American Representative and she kind of laughingly told me if I missed my flight it wasn't their problem, or responsibility and I'd just hafta make the most of it... @#$%&..
