4pt FG.... I think it should be the opposite......

I do not think a team should be 'rewarded' with more pts for "FAILING" to drive deeper into their opponents territory.

I've often wondered about tiered FG scoring. Just an example.... 4pts for inside the 20.... 3 from 20 to 50.... and 2 from your own territory. BUT... too complicated and I don't think that would work. Leaving it as is I think the best. - JamesJM
