Although you may know his TV name - HopAlongCassidy. William Boyd.
There is a local milk company here, (well not my town but Fresno), and Hopalong was their.... hmmmm, what would you call him? The "face" of Producers Milk? At their plant in Fresno they had a huge billboard-like sign of Hopalong on the Wall of the plant facing the road. heck, it may still be there!!!!!! I'll check on google earth.... one second -
Nope, gone. HAS to be stored in a place of honor but no idea where. My son-in-law worked for Producers for a while and tells me Hopalong was still there, on the wall, in 2013. Pretty good run considering his TV show ended in..... 1954 or so? I think I remember 21Dog saying he had seen it.
He was in a parade in front of Producers and I rode on the float with him. He even gave me a sheriff's badge.
