For what?
That's what I wrote. She will compete. My concern is twofold. 1) She's on the most dangerous run there is and if she further injures that same knee it will only further her damaged knees. But if she even makes the podium it will make a great story and even a movie. 2) Having said that she is a damaged athlete (torn ACL) that will be occupying a starting gate that another skier won't- meaning she (the other skier) will not compete in the Olympics. If Lindsey doesn't make the podium then she will be the target of those who believe she took the place of an uninjured skier who could have done better and now must wait another 4 yrs for her chance.
I do hope she medals in the downhill not just for her sake but for the "story".
